Please take the time to nominate a friend, colleague, client, employee, or business, who deserves to be celebrated! Consider nominating individuals or organizations whose accomplishments have yet to be publicly acknowledged.
Nominations for the 2024 Immigrant Journey Awards will be accepted from now until April 30, 2024.
The award categories are:
Immigrant Entrepreneur Award – Honoring an immigrant business owner who has founded a highly successful business in DFW and who serves as a model and inspiration of success.
Immigrant Professional Excellence Award – Honoring an immigrant who has demonstrated significant professional achievements in their field and whose advancements in their field have positively impacted their profession or community.
Immigrant Spirit Award – Recognizing an immigrant civic leader or elected official who has contributed substantially to the community or the region.
Immigrant Advocate Award – Recognizing an individual, organization, business, or governmental entity who has made a positive impact on the lives of immigrants, and who advocates on behalf of immigrants.
Past honorees have emigrated from India, China, Mexico, Nigeria, Colombia, Sierra Leone, Jamaica, Taiwan, Singapore, Ethiopia, Eritrea, El Salvador, Honduras, and other countries, and have been recognized for their significant achievements in business, education, medicine, athletics, community service, and politics.

The Immigrant Journey Awards will be presented at the annual Immigrant Journey Awards Gala in Dallas, Texas in celebration of Immigrant Heritage Month.
Award finalists will be notified by May 15, 2024 and expected to attend the gala on June 14, 2024 at Communities Foundation of Texas, 5500 Caruth Haven Ln, Dallas, TX 75225.
The deadline to submit your nomination is April 30, 2024.
All applications are submitted electronically.
All nominees must be able to attend the IJA Gala in order to be considered for an award.
