Badmus & Associates and the Immigrant Journey Awards are pleased announce 2020 American Dream Scholarship winner, Noora Haghar!
Noora is one of our five winners. She graduated from Emmett J. Conrad High School and planning to attend University of North Texas to study hospital management. As a student, Noora held leadership positions in the student council, yearbook staff, and Environmental League and was an active volunteer in various community service initiatives. Noora’s family immigrated from Iran. Enjoy her moving story about her American Dream.
The American Dream Scholarship program is highly competitive, receiving over 115 applications from exceptional north Texas high school seniors. Scholarship critiera include academic achievement, community service, and essay submission. All applicants were deserving and submitted thought-provoking essays about the immigrant experience. We congratulate every applicant and wish them success in their future endeavors.
