Nominations for 2020 Immigrant Journey Awards Extended to May 15, 2020

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the deadline for nominations for the Immigrant Journey
Awards has been extended to May 15. Nominations can be submitted electronically through the awards’ website, www.immigrantjourney.org.

Badmus & Associates encourages individuals to nominate leaders in business, professions, community organization, and advocacy. The four award categories, Immigrant Entrepreneur, Immigrant Professional Excellence, Immigrant Advocate and Immigrant Spirit, are meant to honor immigrants for their extraordinary contributions in their fields.

The Immigrant Entrepreneur Award is for an immigrant who has built a wildly successful North Texas business and leads by example for other entrepreneurs in the nation.

The Professional Excellence Award is given to an individual who has made remarkable advancements in their particular field.

The Immigrant Spirit Award is given to one who has contributed considerably to the
wellbeing of their community or region.

The Immigrant Advocate Award goes to an individual, business, or governmental body who has influenced the welfare of immigrants through public advocacy.

The award recipients have a multitude of backgrounds and tales of perseverance and jumping over hurdles as an immigrant in the United States. We look forward to honoring them at the Immigrant Journey Awards Gala.
