Badmus & Associates and the Immigrant Journey Awards are pleased to announce 2020 American Dream Scholarship winner, Jose Chiquito! Jose is one of our five winners. He graduated from McKinney High School and he plans to attend Claremont McKenna College to study International Relations. In his high school career, he was active as a student council member, a North Texas Food Bank volunteer, and the founder of the English Learners Club. Jose and his family immigrated from Mexico. The American Dream Scholarship program is highly competitive, receiving over 115 applications from exceptional north Texas high school seniors. Scholarship critiera include academic achievement, community service, and essay submission. All applicants were deserving and submitted thought-provoking essays about the immigrant experience. We congratulate every applicant and wish them success in their future endeavors.
